However, I must say that a supporter of FPTP should expect a high degree of disagreement among the members. We can agree to disagree!
ALL forms of Electoral Systems need to be fully explore if we are to improve our current system without creating more problems. This full discussion is what this forum is about.
FPTP is not PR - it is defined as a Single Member Plurality (SMP). The system uses the single-x marked ballot to elect a single-candidate for the riding.
